Waupun School Dumpster Fire

The Waupun Fire Department responded to Meadow View Primary School around 1:15pm Wednesday afternoon for a report of a dumpster fire. The fire was visible in the dumpster, which was located near a newly built gymnasium. Fire crews knocked out the fire in less than an hour to prevent it from spreading to the building. There were no injuries or damage to the building itself. An initial investigation suggests the cause of the fire was related to improperly disposed of finishing materials from the gym floor.
