Whealon Towing Receives Proclamation

The Fond du Lac City Council this week honored Whealon Towing for its help with the Fire and Rescue Department’s Survive Alive House each year. The Department uses the house to teach 5th graders how to safely get out of a burning building. It uses simulated smoke. Whealon Towing has stored and transported the home each fall. Fire Chief Peter O’Leary says it saves the city a lot of money because they do it for free. O’Leary pointed out Whealon also donates cars for the department’s auto extrication training. City Council President Karyn Merkel and Chief O’Leary presented Dave Whealon with a copy of the proclamation.
