Whisper Hill Clydesdales Special Needs Seeking A Miracle

Whisper Hill Clydesdales Special Needs has its own big wish this Christmas season. It has to relocate by next fall from its current location. Tim Wiskow of the organization says they have a new site in mind, but it has a price tag of $1.5 million. The organization in the Fond du Lac area provides therapy through the 55 animals it keeps. Although best known for the Clydesdales, they also have ponies, miniature donkeys, goats, sheep and llamas. He says not all of the people who get therapy have physical or cognitive disabilities. One woman, who also volunteers for them, is able to relieve the stress in her life through her contact with the animals. Wiskow says none of the animals are trained, but they seem to have an innate sense that the people around them need comfort.  A Go Fund Me page has been set up on Facebook for Whisper Hill. You can also find out more about their effort by calling (920) 322-0636. They are a 501 c 3 nonprofit charitable organization.
