WI Health Officials Continue to Investigate Lung Disease Linked to Vaping

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says there are
now 35 confirmed cases of severe lung disease linked to vaping in the state.
That data was updated late last week, as health officials across the state and
the nation continue to look into reports of hospitalizations and deaths linked
to using e-cigarettes and vaping devices. DHS says they have another 20 patients
whose cases need further investigation in Wisconsin, with confirmed cases being
found in 15 counties – including Dodge, Winnebago, Washington and Sheboygan
counties. It’s reported that majority of cases reported using e-cigarettes or
other vaping devices to inhale THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. Officials
are urging people to stop vaping altogether in the wake of the hospitalizations.
