WisDOT Announces Public Meeting on Dodge Co. Bridge Rehab Project

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has scheduled a
public meeting on an upcoming bridge rehab project in Dodge County. The DOT
says the proposed project involves bridge polymer overlays and minor repairs to
the State Highway 28 and Soo Road bridges over Interstate 41 south of Lomira.
The polymer overlays are said to enhance the safety and durability of the
bridge deck by waterproofing and increasing traction on the driving surface.
The project is currently scheduled for 2025, but could happen as early as 2021.

The meeting will be held next Thursday – November 14th
– from 5:30 until 7 pm at the Lomira Town Hall, on County Road AY in Lomira.
Adjacent property owners and the public are encouraged to attend the meeting.
