WisDOT Travel Tips Ahead of July 4th Holiday

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is asking drivers
to use patience as today will be one of the busiest travel days of the ahead of
the July 4th holiday. Peak travel times are expected between Noon
and 8 pm today and Noon and 8 pm on Sunday, July 7th. State DOT
officials say drivers need to buckle up, stay alert, and expect slower traffic in
work zones and along major highways as people travel to reach their
destinations. Construction in most highway work zones is set to stop by Noon today
and will not resume until 6 am Monday. For up-to-date information on work zones
