Woman Arrested In FDL Wal Mart Pepper Spraying Incident

A mother and her children were apparently pepper sprayed Saturday evening while in their car at the parking lot at Walmart, located on N. Rolling Meadows Dr. in Fond du Lac. Officers were called out at 9:44 p.m., for a report of a 29-year old female, who had allegedly used pepper spray on another female and her children. The suspect then fled inside the store. Police were able to identify the female, in large part because of the descriptions given by two witnesses at the scene. Officers arrested Lanita Yancey on a charge of Disorderly Conduct. No further details were given but the matter remains under investigation.
