Work On Waupun School Facilities Improvements Starts This Summer

Waupun Area Schools Superintendent Tonya Gubin says the $36 million in improvements at their schools will begin with exterior work in an effort not to disrupt school. Voters approved a referendum last November for the improvements. She says work will begin this summer. She says footings and foundations will be put in. There will be asbestos abatement work as well. She says concrete will be poured for a couple of the new additions. That work will be done for the Meadow View Primary gym and the SAGES Library Media Center. She with that work complete construction can be done over the summer in time for when school starts. The District will be holding a series of groundbreakings next month at the Athletic Complex, Meadow View, and the SAGES charter school.
