Wreaths Remain Red For Fifth Straight Year

For the fifth straight year Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue has been able to keep the Christmas wreathes red at their three fire stations. Each wreath features red bulbs that are replaced with a white one for each fire related to Christmas decorations. Division Chief Troy Haase says they didn’t have to replace any bulbs this year. But he says those real trees that haven’t been taken down yet should be coming down. He says they will be getting really dry and pose more of a fire hazard. The Keep the Wreaths Red campaign was first launched in Fond du Lac during the Christmas season of 2013. (Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue photo).
