–Jonathan Taylor rushed for 222 yards and a touchdown, while Jack Coan tossed two touchdown passes on 203 yards through the air as Wisconsin derailed the Boilermakers at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday. The Badgers totaled 606 yards of offense against Purdue – and won comfortably despite three lost fumbles and an interception.

It was a special Senior Day for Fond du Lac native and St. Mary’s Springs alumnus Zach Hintze, who booted a school-record 62-yard field goal as time expired in the first half. It was the first made field goal of his career with the Badgers, and bests his own personal record of 61-yards that he made in a 2014 playoff game against Algoma while at St. Mary’s Springs.

The win moves Wisconsin to 6-2 in the Big Ten, a game behind 7-1 Minnesota in the Big Ten West Race. The Battle for Paul Bunyan’s Axe next week will also be a battle for the West Division title. Kickoff is 2:30 pm Saturday from Minneapolis.
