Fondy Boys Pick Up OT Win

The Fond du Lac boys basketball team picked up a big 50-43 overtime win at Appleton West on Friday night. The Cardinals trailed by 8 in the 2nd half before rallying to tie the game at 41 on a Joe Schorse 3-pointer late in the final minute. In overtime, Fondy ran off the first seven points to secure the win. Max Schebel led the way with 16. Schorse came off the bench to score 11. Logan Wendt went 4x4 from the free throw line in the OT to finish with 9 points. The win improves Fond du Lac to 6-4 in the FVA and 8-4 overall. They will head to Kaukauna next Friday night.
