Fondy Boys Rally By West Bend West
The
boys basketball team blew by West Bend West 49-37 on Tuesday night to earn
their first victory of the season at the Acuity Fieldhouse. West used a 9-0 run early in the 2nd
quarter to build a 24-10 lead. Fondy
responded with an 11-0 run of their own to close out the half and make it 24-21 West at the break. Mark Ziebell’s squad put
the clamps down on the Spartan in the 2nd half outscoring them 28-13
to pull away in the end. Marcus Ruch led
with 14 points. Sam Frederickson added 9
and Caleb Goldstein 10 in the win. The
Cardinals (1-3, 0-2) will host Appleton North on Friday night. You’ll hear the game on News-Talk 1450
