Fondy Boys Shut Down Kimberly

The Fond du Lac boys basketball team won their 2nd straight FVA game with a 38-23 road win at Kimberly on Friday night. Fondy’s swarming defense held Kimberly to just 7 first half points and didn’t allow the Papermakers to reach 10 points until their was 2:38 left in the 3rd quarter Logan Wendt scored all of his game high 10 points in the first half. Collin Pickart added 8 while Max Schebel, Tyler Kryzanowski, and Joe Schorse added 6 points each. Robert Windsor had two to round out the Fondy scoring. The win improves Fond du Lac to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in FVA play. They will host Oshkosh West on Tuesday night at the Acuity Fieldhouse. Coverage begins at 7:05pm on KFIZ and streaming at kfiz.com.
