Fondy Boys Take 2nd Straight Win
The
boys basketball team erased an 11-0 first quarter deficit and beat Appleton
West 50-44 on Senior Night at the Acuity Fieldhouse on Tuesday night. Fondy outscored the Terrors 25-9 over the
final 9 minutes of the first half to take a 25-20 lead into the locker room.
Senior Brian Luteyn and Marcus Ruch combined to score 17 of the Cardinals 25
second half points in their final regular season home game. Luteyn finished with 15 and Ruch 12. Sophomore Caleb Goldstein hit three
3-pointers to finish with 9. Jayzon
Owens led Appleton West (6-10, 7-13) with 12.
