NFL:

Detroit 35, Green Bay 11

–The Packers closed the 2017 season with their third straight loss and were swept by Detroit in a season for the first time since 1991 with their 35-11 loss to the Lions at Ford Field Sunday afternoon. Green Bay took a 3-0 lead with 4:59 left in the first quarter on a 41 yard field goal from Mason Crosby, but it was all Detroit after that. The Lions scored 27 unanswered points before Green Bay finally found the end zone in the fourth quarter on a touchdown pass from Brett Hundley to Randall Cobb and a two-point conversion. Hundley threw for 172 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in the loss and lost a fumble in the first quarter. Jamaal Williams recorded 22 carries for 82 yards, while Trevor Davis had 56 yards receiving to lead the Packers. Green Bay finishes the season 7-9, their first losing season since 2008.

Minnesota 23, Chicago 10

–Latavius Murray ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns as the Vikings clinched a first round bye in the playoffs with the win over the Bears at US Bank Stadium.

The NFL Playoffs Schedule has been set.

The Wild Card round will open the playoffs this weekend.

Carolina at New Orleans

The Divisional round will be held Saturday & Sunday (1/13 & 1/14) with the Conference Championships on January 21st.

College Football:

The Bowl Season wraps up today with five games, highlighted by the College Football Playoff semifinal games this evening.
