High School Wrestling:

The Dave Cohen Classic took place at North Fond du Lac High School on Saturday. The Fond du Lac High School wrestling team placed fifth with 114.5 team points, while the North Fond du Lac/St. Mary’s Springs co-op placed sixth with 114 team points. Waupun finished in a three-way tie for 11th with 43 team points.

Individual highlights for Fond du Lac High School: Henry Paye placed third at 113 pounds, Tristan Lakey placed second at 120 pounds, Logan Naker placed third at 145 pounds, Austin Baatz took first place at 182 pounds and Joe Schmitz took third place at 285 pounds.

Individual highlights for North Fond du Lac/St. Mary’s Springs: Andrew Forsythe placed second at 145 pounds, Dalton Fritch placed third at 160 pounds, Lane Fritch placed second at 182 pounds and Marcus Orlandoni took first place at 285 pounds.

Individual highlights for Waupun: Trevor Roecker placed third at 120 pounds and Hunter Riter placed third at 182 pounds.

NFL Divisional Playoffs:

--Case Keenum threw a 61-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs as time expired to send the Vikings to Sunday’s NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia.

--Jacksonville will take on New England in next Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
