NBA:

It’s been a rough start to the season for the San Antonio Spurs – who bring a 14-and-19 record into Saturday night’s game against the Bucks.  It’s also been a long time since the Spurs were under .500 this deep into any season. The Spurs are 3-2 in their last five games, including a loss last night to Oklahoma City. They meet a Bucks team many think is the best in the N-B-A, with a 31-5 record. Giannis Antetokounmpo was just named N-B-A Player of the Month for the sixth time in the last seven months.  Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer was named Coach of the Month for December. Tipoff time Saturday night is 7:30 pm, listen on KFIZ.

NFL:

Former Green Bay Packers safety Leroy Butler is listed among 15 modern-era finalists for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  His wait has been a little longer than it was for some of his peers. Butler is the only member of the 1990s All-Decade N-F-L team who hadn’t been a finalist before this.  During his 12 seasons with the Packers Butler had 38 interceptions, 20-and-a-half sacks and was named All-Pro four times. Inductees for the Hall’s Class of 2020 will be announced February 1st.
