–Mason Rudolph completed 24 of 28 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns as the Steelers picked up their first win of the season, and dropped the Bengals to 0-4

College Football: 

Wisconsin linebacker Chris Orr is the Big Ten defensive player of the week for his performance against Northwestern. The senior from Desoto, Texas had nine tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble against the Wildcats. His effort led the Badger defense, which gave up just 255 yards, forced three turnovers and scored two touchdowns. It is Orr’s first career Defensive Player of the Week honor. Orr is the first Badger to be named “Defensive Player of the Week” since Leon Jacobs earned the honor in November 2017. 

NBA: 

The Bucks open Training Camp today as the 2019-2020 season is drawing nearer. The Bucks travel to the UW-Madison campus for three days of training camp starting today through Thursday at the Nicholas Johnson Pavilion. The team is scheduled to practice at 11 am today and tomorrow and at 10 am on Thursday

Reigning NBA M-V-P Giannis Antetokounmpo does not want to discuss free agency next summer and a possible contract extension. The Greek Freak said during Bucks media day “I’m not going to talk about it a lot this season, and I’m not going to try to address it.” Twenty-four-year-old Antetokounmpo will be eligible to sign a five-year supermax extension that could be more than a quarter-billion dollars. Giannis told reporters the goal is to win a championship and he thinks it’s disrespectful towards his teammates talking about his free agency. He has made it clear that he wants to lead Milwaukee to its first N-B-A Finals since 1974

The Milwaukee Bucks are holding an open scrimmage Sunday afternoon at Fiserv Forum. The public is invited to attend the inter-squad scrimmage – which begins at 2 pm and will feature fan giveaways and contests, on-court interviews and appearances by the Bucks Entertainment Network. Gates to the forum open at 1 pm – Admission to the scrimmage is free, but fans planning to attend are asked to download a free ticket at bucks.com/scrimmage.
