–It was a night to forget for the Badgers in Ann Arbor, as Michigan manhandled Wisconsin at the Big House Saturday night to send Wisconsin to its first conference loss of the year. Michigan took an early 7-0 lead, but the Badgers evened the score on a 33 yard run from Kendric Pryor. The score was just 13-7 at halftime, but the Wolverines remained in control, expanding the lead out to 38-7 before Alex Hornibrook connected with AJ Taylor for a late fourth quarter touchdown pass. Hornibrook completed just seven passes for 100 yards – a touchdown and two interceptions. 75 of those passing yards came on the Badgers’ final drive of the game. Wisconsin is 2-1 in conference and 4-2 overall, they host Illinois for Homecoming on Saturday.

–Ripon freshman quarterback Cormac Madigan – a Laconia alumnus – ran for 281 yards and six touchdowns in the win for the Redhawks. Madigan’s six TD’s breaks a single-game school record.

LA Dodgers 4, Milwaukee 3

–Justin Turner’s two-run home run off of Jeremy Jeffress in the eighth inning helped the Dodgers complete the comeback and take game two of the NLCS at Miller Park in Milwaukee Saturday afternoon. Orlando Arcia and Travis Shaw homered in the loss for Milwaukee – that saw the Brewers build a 3-0 lead, before Los Angeles began their rally in the seventh inning. The series heads to Los Angeles tied at one game apiece – game three is Monday night, with coverage starting at 6:05 on KFIZ.

American League Championship Series (Game 1):

–Houston leads the series 1-0. Game two is tonight in Boston – David Price gets the ball for the Red Sox, while the Astros send Gerrit Cole to the mound. First pitch at 6:09 pm central.
