NLCS - Game Four”


LA Dodgers 2, Milwaukee 1 (13 Innings)

--Cody Bellinger hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 13th to beat the Brewers and tie the best of seven series at two games apiece. Los Angeles led 1-0 after one inning on a run-scoring single from Brian Dozier. Milwaukee then tied the game in the fifth on a double from Domingo Santana. Five Brewers relievers kept the Dodgers off the board, until Junior Guerra gave up a single to Manny Machado in the 13th - and allowed him to advance into scoring position on a wild pitch. He then scored the winning run on Bellinger’s single that came on a 3-2 count with two outs in the frame. Game five of the series is this afternoon, Wade Miley will get the start for Milwaukee while the Dodgers will send ace Clayton Kershaw to the mound. Coverage starts at 3:30, first pitch at 4:05 on KFIZ and the Brewers Radio Network.

Baseball News:


Brewers manager Craig Counsell was named Co-Manager of the Year in the Major Leagues along with Braves manager Brian Snitker Tuesday. That award was handed out by the Sporting News. Counsell also received the award last year - and received six votes from a survey of National League manager to tie with Snitker. Counsell led the Brewers to 97 wins and the NL Central Division title, while Snitker led the Braves to a 90-win season and the National League East title, after three straight 90-plus loss seasons.
