Fond du Lac High School freshman Melissa Petrinski begins play at the WIAA State Individual Tennis Tournament today in Madison. Petrinski will face Miah Bohlen, a senior from Nicolet High School in Milwaukee in the first match at Noon today from Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

College Football: 


Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor is one of three U-W players named to the Associated Press mid-season All-America team.  Taylor has rushed for 825 yards in six games, scoring 18 touchdowns. Badgers center Tyler Biadasz and linebacker Zack Braun were also honored. Ohio State led the way with five players on the first and second teams - Alabama had four. 



NBA:


The Milwaukee Bucks carry a perfect four-and-oh record into the final preseason game tonight.The Bucks will close out the exhibition schedule with a home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After that, the wins and losses will start to count - as Milwaukee travels to Houston for the season opener a week from tonight. Coverage starts at 6:30, tipoff is just after 7 pm on KFIZ. 


NFL: 


The Packers added some depth at Wide Receiver on Wednesday - signing Ryan Grant to their active roster. Although having the same name as the former Packers running back who played in the NFL from 2007 to 2012, this Ryan Grant is in his sixth year and was a fifth round pick by the Redskins in 2014 out of Tulane. For his career, Grant has caught 123 passes for 1,333 yards and seven touchdowns. To make room for Grant, the Packers released running back Tra Carson. 


Week Seven of the NFL season begins tonight with Thursday Night Football as Kansas City visits Denver


Major League Baseball: 


Wednesday’s Game Four of the American League Championship Series was postponed to tonight due to rain in New York City. The Astros lead the best-of-seven series two-games-to-one and look to move that lead to 3-1 with a win tonight in New York. Zack Greinke gets the start for Houston against Masahiro Tanaka for the Yankees. First pitch is just after 7 pm central time.
