–Alex Hornibrook threw for three touchdowns, while Jonathan Taylor and Taiwan Deal each went over 100 yards rushing as the Badgers bounced back with a homecoming win over Illinois at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday. The win was Wisconsin’s ninth in a row over Illinois – and the Badgers’ 16th in a row over a Big Ten West division rival. The Badgers travel to Northwestern next Saturday – kickoff is at 11 am.

NLCS – Game 7:

–The Dodgers used the long ball to beat the Brewers in game seven and clinch a spot in the World Series for the second consecutive year. Christian Yelich started the game with a bang, hitting a solo shot to right center field in the first inning to give the Brewers a 1-0 lead. The Dodgers would take control after that, with Cody Bellinger blasting a two-run home run in the second to make it 2-1, then Yasiel Puig hitting a three-run homer in the sixth to effectively put the game out of reach. Jhoulys Chacin took the loss – allowing two runs on three hits in just two innings. The Brewer offense managed just one run on seven hits in the loss.
