NFL:

Green Bay 31, Kansas City 24

--Aaron Rodgers threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns as the Packers won on the road over the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. Rodgers’ 67-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Jones with just over eight minutes to play in the game proved to be the difference as Green Bay won its fourth game in a row. Jones finished with seven catches for 159 yards and two scores, to go along with 67 yards rushing. The Packers led 14-0 after the first quarter, but saw Kansas City score 17 unanswered points to take a halftime lead. The Packers then outscored the Chiefs 17-7 in the second half to earn the victory. Green Bay improves to 7-1 on the season - they visit the LA Chargers on Sunday. 


LA Chargers 17, Chicago 16

--Bears’ kicker Eddie Piniero missed two field goals, including the 41-yard game winner as time expired. Chicago drops to 3-4 on the year and travels to Philadelphia on Sunday. 


Detroit 31, NY Giants 26

--Matthew Stafford threw for three touchdowns - two to Kenny Golladay - as the Lions held off the Giants in Detroit. The Lions improve to 3-3-1 on the year and visit Oakland on Sunday


NBA:

Minnesota 116, Miami 109 


Major League Baseball: 


World Series - Game Five: 


Houston 7, Washington 1

--Yordan Alvarez, Carlos Correa and George Springer all hit home runs to power the Astros to their third straight win in the series. Houston holds a 3-2 series lead and can clinch a World Series Championship tomorrow night in Game Six.
