College Football: 

Big Ten: 

Sunday’s Associated Press football poll ranks the Wisconsin Badgers (8-2, 5-2 Big Ten) 14th after their 37-21 win at Nebraska.  Since Minnesota lost to Iowa, the Badgers still have a shot at the West title and the Big Ten Championship game. All-American running back Jonathan Taylor powered through the Cornhuskers for 204 yards and touchdowns Saturday – the third straight time he’s topped 200 yards against Nebraska.  He also passed Herschel Walker for the most rushing yards by a college junior. The Badgers trailed 14-10 in the second period, but a Jack Coan-to-A-J Taylor scoring pass went for 55 yards and the lead. Wisconsin’s next action is at home against Purdue Saturday.

WIAC:

Both UW-Oshkosh and UW-Whitewater earned bids into the NCAA Division 3 Playoffs when the brackets were announced on Sunday. Oshkosh will open on the road on Saturday at Central College in Pella, Iowa, while the Warhawks will host Monmouth College of Illinois in first round action. 

NFL:

LA Rams 17, Chicago 7

–Todd Gurley and Malcolm Brown ran for touchdowns as the Rams held off the Bears on Sunday Night Football. Chicago drops to 4-6 and hosts the Giants on Sunday

Minnesota 27, Denver 23

–The Vikings scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to rally and beat the Broncos at US Bank Stadium. Minnesota is 8-3 and travels to Seattle on December 2nd. 

Dallas 35, Detroit 27

–Dak Prescott threw for 444 yards and three touchdowns in the win for the Cowboys. Detroit drops to 3-6-1 and travels to Washington next Sunday

Men’s College Basketball: 

Non-Conference: 

Wisconsin 77, Marquette 61

–Brad Davison and Brevin Pritzl each scored 15 points, two of six players in double figures for the Badgers as they took down in-state rival Marquette at the Kohl Center Sunday afternoon. Koby McEwen led Marquette with 19 points, Markus Howard scored 18 – but was held to just two points in the second half. Wisconsin improves to 3-1 and will host UW-Green Bay on Thursday. Marquette drops to 2-1 and will host Robert Morris on Saturday. 

Women’s College Basketball:

Wisconsin 71, UW-Milwaukee 40

–Imani Lewis scored 19 points to pace the Badgers in the win

NBA:

The Milwaukee Bucks (9-3) shoot for their fourth win in-a-row at Chicago tonight (Monday) after taking Indiana by a 102-83 score Saturday.  Milwaukee has beaten the Bulls six straight times. Giannis Antetokounmpo was held below 30 points for the first time in two weeks by the Pacers, but he still had a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds.  He also connected on three 3-point shots. Former Buck Malcolm Brogdon missed the game with a sore back. Tipoff at the United Center is set for 7 PM, coverage starts at 6:30 tonight on KFIZ

–Jaylen Adams scored 27 points to lead the Herd in the win.
