NFL:

Minnesota 24, Green Bay 17

–The Packers offense struggled to gain traction in the second half yet again as Green Bay fell to Minnesota at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday night. The teams traded scores in the first half – with Davante Adams catching a 15 yard pass from Aaron Rodgers for the game’s first score – and an Aaron Jones touchdown run putting the Packers up 14-7, before Minnesota made it all square at 14 at the half. The second half, however, was a different story – as the Vikings built a 24-14 lead and would hold the Packers scoreless until a 38 yard field goal from Mason Crosby with 2:25 left, which proved to be too little, too late for the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers was held to 198 yards passing and one touchdown, while Aaron Jones had 15 carries for 72 yards and a score. Davante Adams led the Packer receivers with five catches for 69 yards and a score.

The loss is Green Bay’s fourth in their last five games and drops the Packers to 0-6 on the road this year. Overall, Green Bay is 4-6-1 and hosts 2-9 Arizona on Sunday

College Football:

There was some shuffling in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll for college football as the regular season winds down for many teams – and conference championship games loom on the horizon for some. The top three this week remain unchanged, with Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame holding down the top three spots. Georgia slides up one to number four with Oklahoma up to number five. Ohio State climbed four spots to number six, with Central Florida up to seven. Michigan dropped four spots to number eight, with Texas at nine and Washington at ten rounding out the top 10.
