The Milwaukee Brewers are making a major trade with the San Diego Padres. M-L-B Network says the Brewers are sending right-hander Zach Davies and outfielder Trent Grisham to the Padres for infielder Luis Urias, left-hander Eric Lauer and a player to be named later or cash. Twenty-two-year-old Urias is a top infield prospect and is expected to compete with Orlando Arcia for the starting shortstop position. He hit .315 with 19 homers and 50 RBI for Triple-A El Paso last season, but only had a .223 average, four home runs and 24 runs batted in 71 games for San Diego. Twenty-four-year-old Lauer went 8-and-10 with a four-point-45 ERA in 30 games for the Padres in 2019.  Davies was 10-and-7 with a three-point-55 ERA and led the Brewers with 159 and two-thirds innings. Grisham filled in when Christian Yelich went down last season, hitting 231. with six homers and 24 RBI in 51 games.
