--Three players scored in double figures for the Ledgers - led by David Mueller with 17. Cade Christensen added 11 points, with Mitch Waechter scored 10.

Girls Basketball:

North Fond du Lac 34, Winneconne 30

--Paige Smith scored 10 points to lead the Orioles past the Wolves

Fond du Lac 40, Oshkosh North 27

--The Cardinals got pins from Isaac Ortegon (145 lbs), Braelon Allen (195 lbs) and Austin Baatz (220 lbs) in the win over the Spartans.

Boys Hockey:

St. Mary’s Springs 8, Appleton United 1

--Zach Welsch and Mitchell Huettl each scored two goals for the Ledgers in the win

Girls Hockey:

FDL Warbirds/Beaver Dam Alliance 3, Wisconsin Valley Union 1

--The Warbirds/BD Alliance improves to 4-0 with the win

--The Cowboys win snaps the Saints’ 10 game win streak

Men’s College Basketball:

It’s an early start to Big Ten play tonight as the 6-1 Wisconsin Badgers visit the 6-0 Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City tonight. Wisconsin got a 79-75 win over NC State Tuesday night as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, while Iowa squeaked out a 69-68 win over Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Tipoff time for tonight’s game is 7pm, no broadcast on KFIZ because of High School Basketball.

Women’s College Basketball:

UW-Oshkosh 61, St. Mary’s (MN) 36

South Dakota State 77, UW-Green Bay 47

Women’s College Volleyball:

NCAA Tournament First Round - at Madison

WIsconsin 3, UW-Green Bay 0 (25-9, 27-25, 25-15)

--The Badgers will play Pepperdine tonight at 7pm with the winner advancing to regionals
