Big Ten:

The Badgers were off on Saturday – but still managed to move up in the rankings despite being idle. Wisconsin is up to number 16 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the Coaches Poll this week. Wisconsin hosts #18 Iowa this Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.

MLB:

Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Lorenzo Cain has won his first Gold Glove award in his 10th major league season. The 33-year-old had 20 Defense Runs Saved in the 2019 season.  He was chosen over two much-younger players – Washington’s Victor Robles and the Cardinals’ Harrison Bader. Cain says he had given up on the thought he would ever win the fielding honor after being bypassed last season. He ended this season with five home run-saving catches, tying for the most since the tracking that stat started in 2004.

NBA:

The Milwaukee Bucks tip-off a four-game road trip at Minneapolis against the Timberwolves tonight. The Bucks will be going for their third straight win after bumping off the Toronto Raptors Saturday 115-105.  Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated the team which ended Milwaukee’s season last spring, collecting 36 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists. The Bucks have dominated Minnesota recently, winning eight out of the last 10 meetings. Wolves star center Karl-Anthony Towns will miss the game due to a suspension.
