High School Wrestling:

The North Fond du Lac/St. Mary’s Springs Co-Op went 1-4 at the Akey Duals hosted by Weyauwega-Fremont High School. The Oriole/Ledger team won their dual meet over Waupaca and lost to Seymour, Chilton/Hilbert, Ripon and Weyauwega-Fremont. Individually, both Marcus Orlandoni and Dakota Maas went 5-0 on the day, Orlandoni with three pins and Mass with two. Abe Giebel went 4-1 with two pins, Dalton Fritch 3-2 with one pin on the day.

–Brad Davison scored 20 points, Ethan Happ added 17 in the loss for the Badgers to Marquette at the Kohl Center. Andrew Rowsey scored 24 points on five of six shooting from three-point range for Marquette while Markus Howard added 23 in the win for the Golden Eagles. The Badgers are 4-7 and host Western Kentucky on Wednesday, Marquette is off until a December 18th game against Northern Illinois at home.

Before the game, the Badgers announced that they would be without D’Mitrik Trice and Kobe King indefinitely as both are dealing with injuries. Trice will undergo surgery on his right foot on Monday and the initial rehab process will begin in two to three weeks. King has a left knee injury with a timetable for his return unknown.

–Giannis Antetokounmpo posted another double-double, this one of 37 points and 13 rebounds as the Bucks won their third straight game. Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe each pitched in 20 points in the win for Milwaukee. The Bucks travel to New Orleans on Wednesday.

NCAA Division 3 Playoffs:

Mount Union (OH) 43, UW-Oshkosh 40

–The Titans’ season comes to an end in the National Semifinals as Mount Union rallied from down 35-10 to win and advance to the Stagg Bowl in Salem, Virginia.

–Army wins over Navy for the second year in a row, and wins the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy for the first time since 1996.
