Former Badger Frank Kaminsky will have his number 44 retired by the University of Wisconsin in a ceremony later this season. February 15th will be “Frank the Tank” night at the Kohl Center as Wisconsin hosts Purdue, where Kaminsky will be honored during a halftime ceremony. The 2015 consensus National Player of the Year was selected ninth overall by Charlotte in the 2015 NBA Draft and has appeared in 179 games with an average of 9.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis has been suspended for two games by the NFL following his helmet-to-helmet hit on Davante Adams. The Packers wide receiver left Sunday's 31-24 loss to Carolina in the third quarter with a concussion after being blindsided by Davis following a Carolina interception. Davis apologized to Adams via Twitter on Monday for the hit and has three days to appeal the punishment.


The Bucks have waived guard Gary Payton II and signed guard Sean Kilpatrick to a two-way contract. Kilpatrick was released by Brooklyn on December 7th. In 16 games with the Nets, he averaged 4.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game. Payton was signed to a two-way contract in October, and started six of the 12 games he appeared in with the Bucks, averaging 2.5 points per game. In three starts with the Wisconsin Herd, Payton averaged 18.3 points per game along with seven rebounds and two assists per game.

The Bucks have assigned forward Jabari Parker to the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G-League. Parker played in 51 games in the 2016-17 season for Milwaukee, averaging around 20 points, six rebounds and two assists per game. Parker tore his left ACL on February 8th and had surgery to repair it on February 14th.
