NFL:

Detroit 31, Green Bay 0

–The Packers’ already disappointing season came to a brutal end on Sunday with a shutout loss to Detroit at Lambeau Field. Matthew Stafford threw for 266 yards and two scores, while Zach Zenner ran for 93 yards and a touchdown in the win for the Lions – their fourth straight over Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers left the game early in the second quarter with a concussion, and his backup DeShone Kizer was ineffective, throwing for 132 yards, no touchdowns and an interception, while rushing for 40 yards. The Packers close out the season with a 6-9-1 record, while Detroit finishes 6-10.

Chicago 24, Minnesota 10

–Jordan Howard ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns as the Bears beat the Vikings at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Minnesota’s loss means the Philadelphia Eagles make the playoffs as the #6 seed. Chicago finishes 12-4 and will host Philadelphia next Sunday, the Vikings close out the year 8-7-1.
