Super Bowl 52:

Philadelphia 41, New England 33

–The Eagles are Super Bowl Champions for the first time in franchise history as they defeated the Patriots in a shootout in Minneapolis. Nick Foles’ 11 yard touchdown pass to Zach Ertz with 2:21 left helped Philadelphia regain the lead and Jake Elliott’s 46 yard field goal with 1:06 left helped seal the win for the Eagles. Foles threw for 373 yards, three touchdowns and one interception and caught a touchdown pass late in the first half. Foles was named MVP. New England lost the game, despite a huge night from Tom Brady, who completed 28 passes for 505 yards and three scores.

Big Ten:

Maryland 68, Wisconsin 63

–Ethan Happ scored 18 points to lead the Badgers in the loss to the Terrapins in College Park, Maryland. Wisconsin trailed by 10 at halftime, and rallied to within one point at 64-63 with 10 seconds left on a three-pointer from Brad Davison. Maryland’s Anthony Cowan then made four straight free throws to seal the win for the Terps. The Badgers drop to 3-9 in the Big Ten and 10-15 overall with a trip to Illinois up next on Thursday.

–Eric Bledsoe scored 26 points to lead the Bucks to a win on the road against the Nets. John Henson added 19 points and 18 rebounds in the win for Milwaukee. The Bucks continue the road trip Tuesday at New York.
