Duke earned the overall top seed and fellow ACC programs Virginia and North Carolina secured the other No. 1s along with Gonzaga.

MLB Spring Training:

Milwaukee 9, LA Dodgers 8

–The Brewers overcame a 5-0 deficit to outslug the Dodgers 9-8 in Glendale. Keston Hiura’s three-run double in the eighth put Milwaukee in front 9-7. The Brewers are 12-and-11 in Cactus League play.  They host the Rangers tomorrow.

Marian 20, Northland College 13

Auto Racing:

Kyle Busch tied the NASCAR record with his 200th national victory across the three major series with a win at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. Busch tied Richard Petty’s record and now has 53 victories in the Cup Series, 53 in the Truck Series and 94 in Xfinity.

Golf:

Rory McIlroy held off Jim Furyk to win his first The Players Championship, closing with a 2-under 70 to win by a stroke. McIlroy made two late birdies to get by Furyk, who shot a 67 and briefly took the lead on the 18th.
