--The Spartans remain unbeaten at 25-0, they’ll play St. Thomas More in Saturday’s Sectional Championship game at Waukesha South High School.


Division 4:


Cambridge 55, St. Mary’s Springs 33

--Gracie Rieder scored 13 points, Emily Mueller added 10 for the Ledgers in the loss. Springs closes the season with a 22-3 record.

--Dawson Saurauer scored the only goal for Springs in the loss. Hudson outshot the Ledgers 38-10 in their win

Men’s College Basketball:


Big Ten Tournament : Second Round


Wisconsin 59, Maryland 54

--Four Badgers scored in double-figures, led by Ethan Happ with 14 as Wisconsin outlasted Maryland in the Big Ten Tournament. Brevin Pritzl’s jumper with 36 seconds left put the Badgers up 55-53, a lead they wouldn’t give up. Wisconsin gets a rematch with top-seed Michigan State today, tipoff is at 11 am.


Michigan 77, Iowa 71 (OT)

--The Wolverines will take on #4 seed Nebraska in the quarterfinals today


Penn State 65, Northwestern 57

--Penn State plays #2 seed Ohio State tonight


Rutgers 76, Indiana 69

--Rutgers plays #3 seed Purdue tonight.


MLB Spring Training:


Milwaukee 6, Arizona 1

--Hernan Perez went 2 for 3 with a triple and 3 RBI in the win for the Brewers. Milwaukee is now 6-1-1 in Cactus League play, they’ll take on Seattle this afternoon.
