–Yasmani Grandal hit a two-run homer and Travis Shaw added a three-run shot to power the Brewers to a 10-5 exhibition win over the Blue Jays. Brandon Woodruff went three innings on the mound with six strikeouts in the win. The Brewers and Jays play one final tuneup game tonight in Montreal.

A deal between the Brewers and reliever Alex Wilson is complete. They’ve finalized a one-year, 750-thousand-dollar contract that includes 825-thousand in performance bonuses. The 32-year-old spent the last four seasons with the Tigers.  Wilson has a 3.23 career ERA.

NBA:

The Bucks welcome the Houston Rockets to Fiserv Forum tonight. It’s the third of a four-game homestand for Milwaukee, which is four games clear of Toronto for the East lead with eight games to play. Houston is just a half-game ahead of Portland for the third seed in the West. Coverage starts at 6:30 with tipoff just after 7 on KFIZ and the Bucks Radio Network.

Men’s College Hoops:

Green Bay is on its home floor tonight for the second round of the College Insider Tournament. The Phoenix welcome Florida International to the Kress Events Center. Green Bay beat East Tennessee State in the first round. FIU advanced with a win at Texas State.

Women’s College Hoops:

No. 1 overall seed Baylor and defending national champion Notre Dame were among the latest to advance to the Sweet 16 of the women’s NCAA Tournament. The Lady Bears rolled to a 102-63 win over eighth-seeded California in the Greensboro Region, while the Fighting Irish routed ninth-seeded Michigan State 91-63 in the Chicago Region. In the Albany Region, UCLA knocked out third-seeded Maryland 85-80 to earn a Sweet 16 matchup with Connecticut, while Missouri State continued its Cinderella Run as a No. 11 seed in the Chicago Region by upsetting third-seeded Iowa State 69-60.
