Fond du Lac shot a 309 as a team to go 3-1 at the FVA Quad Meet at Westridge Golf Course in Neenah Friday. Elliot Nielsen had the low score for the Cardinals with a 73.

St. Mary’s Springs won the Blackhawk Invitational at Blackwolf Run in Kohler. The Ledgers shot a 314 as a team with Dawson Sarauer firing a 75 to pace the team.

–The Cubs scored the go-ahead run on an error in the seventh inning, then held the Brewers scoreless the rest of the way to send the Brewers to their second straight loss at Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon. Milwaukee totaled four hits in the loss, with both of their runs coming on sacrifice flies. Game three of the series is this afternoon, coverage on KFIZ and the Brewers Radio Network begins at 12:45 pm.

NFL Draft:

The Packers added two more players during rounds two and three of the draft on Friday night. With the 13th pick of the second round (#45 overall), Green Bay selected cornerback Josh Jackson from Iowa. Jackson led the nation with eight interceptions in his junior season with the Hawkeyes. The Packers traded back up into the third round to select linebacker Oren Burks from Vanderbilt with pick #24/#88 overall. Burks totaled 82 tackles and had one interception in his senior season at Vanderbilt. Green Bay has eight more picks in day three today, which includes rounds four through seven.
