–The Brewers managed just five hits against Cardinals pitchers as they dropped the rubber match of their three-game series with St. Louis at Miller Park Wednesday night. Jonathan Villar went 2 for 4 at the plate to lead Milwaukee in the loss. Jhoulys Chacin took the loss, allowing six runs on seven hits in 5 & ⅔ innings. Cardinals starter Carlos Martinez gave up just four hits and struck out 10 in 8 & ⅓ innings. The Brewers open a four-game series with the Chicago Cubs tonight, coverage starts at 6:35 on KFIZ and the Brewers Radio Network.

NBA:

The home stretch of the regular season continues for the Bucks as they play a home matchup against the Brooklyn Nets tonight at the Bradley Center. Milwaukee is coming off a 106-102 win over Boston on Tuesday and sits at 42-36 on the season. With Detroit’s loss to Philadelphia last night, the Bucks clinched a playoff spot and had already clinched a winning record for the second straight season following Tuesday’s victory. The Nets are 25-53 and are coming off a 121-95 loss to Philadelphia on Tuesday. Tipoff time is just after 7pm.

NFL:

Former Packers tight end RIchard Rodgers has signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. Rodgers was a third-round pick of the Packers in 2014, and had his best season in 2015, where he caught 58 passes for 510 yards and eight touchdowns. His most notable moment as a Packer player came in that 2015 season, where he caught a 61-yard Hail Mary touchdown to beat Detroit in Week 13. Rodgers started just one game last season, catching 12 passes for 160 yards and one touchdown.
