--Caden Krug had two hits in the loss for Fondy

St. Mary’s Springs 3, Mayville 1 (8 Innings)

--Ezra Tucker and Karlis Ozols each had two hits in the win for Springs. Cade Christensen struck out 11 in six innings on the mound for SMSA

Mishicot 8, North Fond du Lac 2

Fond du Lac 6, Hortonville 2

--Morgan Flaherty went 3 for 3 with two doubles, driving in four runs and stuck out 10 batters in the win for Fondy

Lomira 8, Winnebago Lutheran 3

--Rylee Baetz went 3 for 4 with a double and blasted a three-run home run in the 5th inning in the win for Lomira. Kylie Guell had two hits, including a double, in the loss for WLA.

North Fond du Lac 20, New Holstein 9

Mayville 10, Omro 0 (5 Innings)

--Kyra Thoreson went 3 for 3 at the plate, Abby Van Beek tossed a complete game with 10 strikeouts, allowing only one hit in the win for Mayville.

Campbellsport 10, Plymouth 0 (6 Innings)

--Morgan Fryman drove in four runs in the win for the Cougars

--The Hilltoppers got wins in the top three singles flights and won in #3 doubles to defeat St. Mary’s Springs

Major League Baseball:

After an off-day, the Brewers are back in action tonight.  They begin a three-game set against the Cubs at Miller Park. Brandon Woodruff is scheduled to start for Milwaukee and Jose Quintana for Chicago. The Brewers are 6-and-1. The Cubs are just 1-and-5. Coverage starts at 6:35 on KFIZ.

National League:

--Brice Turang had two hits in the win for the Rattlers


Milwaukee 128, Philadelphia 122

--Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 45 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and had six assists as the Bucks defeated the Sixers to clinch the top seed in the Eastern Conference AND the best record in the NBA, Milwaukee will have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. Khris Middleton scored 22 points, while George Hill added 20 off the bench. The Bucks close the year with three games at home - the first comes up Saturday against Brooklyn.

Women’s Basketball:

Iowa center and Wisconsin native Megan Gustafson has been named The Associated Press women's player of the year after leading the nation in scoring for the second straight season at 27.9 points per game and becoming the fourth player to reach 1,000 points in a year.
