High School Track & Field:

Wisconsin State Indoor Championships (At UW-Whitewater):

The Fond du Lac High School boys and girls track & field teams competed at the Wisconsin State Indoor Championships on Saturday in Whitewater. The Cardinal boys placed ninth with 15 team points. Highlighting the boys’ meet for Fond du Lac was Andrew Stone, who took first place in the Shot Put with a throw of 65’ ¼”. Colton Wasieleski took fifth place in the Shot Put with a throw of 55’4”. For the Fondy girls, Madison Hughes placed 11th in the 1,600 meter with a time of 5:25.75, while Nicole Lord was 15th in the Long Jump.

–The Cubs pushed across four runs in the top of the ninth inning to pull out a come-from-behind win over the Brewers at Miller Park on Saturday. The final game of the series is this afternoon, coverage starts at 12:35, first pitch at 1:10 on KFIZ and the Brewers Radio Network.

Milwaukee 115, NY Knicks 102

–Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton each scored 22 points for the Bucks as they defeated the Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York. Bledsoe added 10 assists in the win, while Jon Henson posted 12 rebounds for the Bucks who improve to 43-37 on the year. Milwaukee hosts Orlando in their final home game of the regular season Monday night.

Golf:

Patrick Reed is the leader after the third round of the Masters. Reed fired a five-under-par 67 to sit at 14-under for the tournament, three strokes ahead of Rory McIlroy. McIlroy is one of three players that shot a seven-under-par 65 in Saturday’s round, the other two being RIcky Fowler and John Rahm. McIlroy is at -11 going into Sunday’s final round, while Fowler is at -9 and Rahm sits at -8. Tiger Woods shot an even par 72 on Saturday to sit in a tie for 40th. Tiger is at +4 for the tournament.
