–Sarah Frey went 4-4 with two RBI in the loss for WLA, Nicole Steger 3-3 for Lomira.

–Becca Kingsland went 4-4, Anna Maramonte was 4-5 at the plate for the Orioles in the win. North Fond du Lac also turned a triple play in the win.

–Ryan Braun’s two-run double in the fifth inning put the Brewers ahead for good as they took game two of their three game series in Cincinnati. Jonathan Villar added an RBI triple in the sixth, while Travis Shaw, Jesus Aguilar and Hernan Perez all hit home runs in the win. UW-Oshkosh wide receiver Sam Mentkowski has earned an invite to the Jacksonville Jaguars rookie minicamp. Mentkowski caught 67 pases for 1,477 yards and 13 touchdowns last season for the Titans, in helping them to a 12-1 record and a trip to the NCAA DIvision Three National Semifinals.

College Basketball:

UW-Oshkosh Men’s Basketball coach Pat Juckem was introduced Tuesday as the new head coach at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Juckem led the Titans to a 95-73 record in six seasons with the team, including a 25-8 record last year and a trip to the NCAA Division Three National Championship Game. Juckem replaces Mark Edwards, who retired after 37 years with Wash-U.
