Eastern Conference Finals – Game 5:

After losing the last two games on the road, the Bucks return to the friendly confines of Fiserv Forum tonight for Game Five of the Eastern Conference Finals against Toronto. Milwaukee won the first two games at home, before watching Toronto defend their home court in games three and four. In game four on Tuesday, the Raptors got 25 points from Kyle Lowry, and double-digit scoring off the bench from Norman Powell, Serge Ibaka and Fred Van Vleet. Khris Middleton scored 30, while Giannis added 25 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for the Bucks. Tipoff time tonight is 7:30, our coverage starts at 7 on KFIZ.

Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and guard Eric Bledsoe were both named to the All-NBA Defensive First Team on Wednesday. It’s the first time since the 1990-91 season the Bucks have had a player selected to the all-Defensive First Team, and just the third time in franchise history Milwaukee has had two players selected to the team in the same season. Giannis and Bledsoe led the Bucks defense, which was top-rated in the league this season, and held opponents to a league-low 43.3 percent field goal percentage.

–The Brewers rallied from down 6-1 to the Reds to win the final game of the two-game set with Cincinnati at Miller Park on Wednesday afternoon. A five-run sixth inning propelled the Brewers in front. Hernan Perez had three hits, while Keston Hiura and Mike Moustakas hit home runs in the win. The Brewers are off today – and open a weekend series against Philadelphia on Friday.

College Baseball:

A handful of former Fond du Lac Dock Spiders players earned all-conference honors from the Big Ten Conference when the league announced its individual awards on Tuesday. Third baseman Alex Erro of Northwestern earned first team All-Big Ten honors along with outfielder Zac Taylor from the University of Illinois. In addition, Iowa’s Mitchell Boe was a Sportsmanship Award honoree from the conference.

College Softball:

Marian University’s Ally Fox is one of 10 student-athletes in the running for the 2019 Schutt Sports/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division Three National Player of the Year Award.Fox ranked second in the conference this year with 71 hits, and had the best batting average in the league at .511. Fox also holds the highest batting average in program history with a .446 average. She also led the conference with 28 stolen bases on the season, and set an all-time record for stolen bases in Marian Softball history with 74 stolen bags in three seasons.
