–The Dock Spiders rally from down 3-0 to defeat the Woodchucks on the road Monday night. Max Downs had three hits, Kellen Sarver and Andrew Schleusner each had two hits in the win. It’s a quick turnaround for Fond du Lac, as they host a day/night doubleheader at Herr-Baker Field against Lakeshore today. Game one is at 11:35 AM, game two at 6:35 pm.

Major League Baseball:

The Brewers open an eight-game road trip with the first of two against the Houston Astros tonight. Milwaukee comes into the game 38-28, having won four in a row, including a sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates in their weekend series. Houston sits atop the American League West at 45-22, having won five of their last seven games. The Astros took two of three from Baltimore over the weekend. First pitch tonight is 7:10 – listen to the game on KFIZ following High School Baseball. (Note – if Fond du Lac does play in the late semifinal game – we will NOT bring you Brewer Baseball tonight).

NFL:

The Packers now have their entire 2019 draft class under contract, after tight end Jace Sternberger signed his rookie deal on Monday. Sternberger was the 75th overall pick (3rd round) out of Texas A&M in April’s draft.

NBA:

NBA Finals – Game 5:

Golden State 106, Toronto 105

–Steph Curry scored 31 points, Klay Thompson added 26 as the Warriors forced a game six in the NBA Finals. Kawhi Leonard scored 26 points to lead Toronto – who still leads the series 3-2. Game Six is Thursday in Oakland.

Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez of the Milwaukee Bucks have been selected to take part in the USA Basketball Men’s National Team training camp this August. The camp takes place August 5th through the 9th in Las Vegas. The 20-man camp roster will be used to select finalists for the 12-man 2019 USA World Cup team that will play in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup that tips off in China on August 31st.
