–Four Dock Spiders players had multi-hit games as Fondy pounded Green Bay in a Sunday afternoon contest at Herr Baker Field. Jack Wassel – a University of Minnesota freshman – went 2 for 3 with two RBI in his Dock Spiders debut. Fondy has the day off today and will host the WIsconsin Woodchucks Tuesday night at 6:35 pm.

–Eric Thames homered twice – his first home runs since his return to the lineup – but it wasn’t enough for the Brewers to keep pace with the Phillies who took the rubber match of the weekend series at Miller Park Sunday afternoon. The Phillies led 2-0 three pitches into the game – eventually extending that lead to 10-5 after the Brewers evened the score twice during the game. Milwaukee made a late rally in the ninth on home runs from Thames and Jesus Aguilar – but Christian Yelich flew out to center to end the game. The Brewers head to Pittsburgh to open a three-game series tonight, coverage starts at 5:30 pm on KFIZ.
