--A three-run seventh inning helped the Dock Spiders rally and beat the Rafters at Herr-Baker Field Friday night. Four Dock Spiders players finished with two hits in the win - including Tate Kolwyck, who also scored two runs in the game for Fondy. The two teams meet again tonight at Herr-Baker Field, first pitch is 6:35 pm. Listen on KFIZ following Brewers Baseball.

--Former Appleton West athlete - now at UW-Milwaukee - Jack Mahoney tossed a no-hitter for the Booyah in their win over the Rivets.

--The Brewers bullpen coughed up a five-run lead in the ninth, but the offense saved the day in the 10th as the Brewers were able to hold on for a win in game one against the Pirates on Friday night. Milwaukee led 6-1 going into the ninth, but Pittsburgh loaded the bases off of Junior Guerra - tying the game up thanks to a sac fly from Starling Marte, a two-run home run from Josh Bell and a solo homer from Jung Ho Kang. In the top of the 10th, the Brewers got two runners on with one out, then Lorenzo Cain drove home Orlando Arcia to give the Brewers the lead. Guerra went back out in the bottom of the 10th and secured the win. 


Cain finished with three hits, while Milwaukee got home runs from Arcia, Jesus Aguilar and Manny Pina in the win. Game two of the series is this afternoon - coverage starts at 2:30, first pitch at 3:05 on KFIZ.
