–Marwin Gonzalez hit a three-run home run in the top of the eighth inning off of Josh Hader to help the Twins beat the Brewers in game one of their two game series at Miller Park Tuesday night. The Brewers had just grabbed the lead – scoring four runs in the seventh on a run-scoring double from Christian Yelich and a three-run homer from Yasmani Grandal. Drew Pomeranz gave up a double to lead off the eighth, followed up with a walk before recording the first out. Matt Albers got the next batter out, before being lifted for Hader.
