Davis’ teammate, Quintez Cephus was charged Monday with second and third-degree sexual assault of two women from an incident that occurred in April. Cephus released a statement Saturday declaring his innocence and announcing he was taking a leave of absence from the team. Cephus was suspended from the team Monday and is set to appear in court later this morning. Davis is said to have laughed and taken photos of the women during the incident.  Badgers head coach Paul Chryst said in a statement “We have a high standard of conduct within our football program and we cannot accept behavior that is not consistent with that standard.”
