--History was made at Herr Baker Field a record crowd of 1,934 people saw the Dock Spiders beat the Chinooks to clinch their first-ever Northwoods League playoff berth. Fondy plated five runs in each of the first two innings of the contest on the way to the win. Zac Taylor and Alex Erro each drove in three runs, with Taylor hitting a double and a home run in the win. Fondy travels to Rockford tonight, first pitch is 6:35 pm. Listen on KFIZ and KFIZ.com.

--The Brewers hit three home runs in the first inning, part of five on the night for the Crew as they took game two of the series with the Padres at Miller Park Wednesday night. Jesus Aguilar hit a three run shot, followed by solo blasts from Travis Shaw and Eric Thames to build a 5-0 lead after one inning. Orlando Arcia and Christian Yelich would join in the home run party later on in the game. The final game of the series is today - coverage starts at 12:35 pm on KFIZ.
