Davis has been dealing with a hamstring injury that caused him to miss all but one preseason game. The team also reached injury settlements with running back Devante Mays and cornerback Quinten Rollins and waived both of them.

College Football:

A judge in Dane County ordered Badgers wide receiver Quintez Cephus to stand trial on two counts of sexual assault. Judge Jill J. Karofsky denied a defense motion to dismiss the charge of second degree sexual assault of an intoxicated victim. Cephus’ attorneys argue that video shows the two females accusing him of sexual assault were not impaired the morning of the April 22nd incident. Along with the second degree count, Cephus faces one count of third degree sexual assault. Both are felonies. Cephus has been suspended from the Wisconsin football team indefinitely for violating the UW’s Student Athlete Discipline Policy.
