–Nobody won, nobody lost – the Packers game against the Vikings at Lambeau Field Sunday afternoon ended in a tie, after Daniel Carlson missed a 35 yard field goal at the end of overtime that would’ve won the game for Minnesota. The miss was Carlson’s third of the day. The Vikings scored 22 points in the fourth quarter – including a touchdown and two-point conversion with 31 seconds left that tied the game at 29. Green Bay had a chance to win at the end of regulation, but Mason Crosby’s second attempt at a 52-yard field goal was no good after the Vikings called a time out before the first kick.

Aaron Rodgers threw for 281 yards and a touchdown that went to Davante Adams in the second quarter. Rookie Josh Jackson also recovered a blocked punt in the first quarter for a touchdown. Five field goals from Mason Crosby accounted for the rest of the Packers’ scoring on the day.The 1-0-1 Packers visit the Redskins next Sunday, kickoff is at Noon.

College Football:

The Badgers plummeted in the Associated Press Top 25 after Saturday’s 24-21 loss to BYU, falling all the way down to number 18 in the ranking from number six. Alabama remains number one, with Georgia at two, Clemson at three and Ohio State fourth. The Badgers’ opponent this week – Iowa – received 64 votes and sits just outside the Top 25.

Saturday was not a good day for the Big Ten, with seven teams – including the Badgers – losing non-conference games. Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, Nebraska, Maryland and Rutgers all found themselves on the wrong side of the ledger in non-conference play to go along with Wisconsin’s loss to BYU.
