The Packers placed safety Raven Greene on Injured Reserve Monday. Greene left Sunday’s win over Minnesota with an ankle injury he suffered in the third quarter. Greene left the field on a cart and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. If healthy, he could return to practice in eight weeks and be brought back to the active roster. The Packers claimed cornerback Tremon Smith off of waivers from Kansas City to take Greene’s spot on the roster.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and U-S Senator Tammy Baldwin will be expecting a care package of cheese from a pair of top Minnesota lawmakers after the Packers held on to beat the Vikings 21-16 Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field. The two Wisconsin politicians made friendly wagers on the game with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Senator Tina Smith. The win gives Green Bay first place in the N-F-C North headed into week three.

Monday Night Football: Cleveland 23, NY Jets 3

College Football:

The near-flawless Badger defense faces a much tougher challenge this week when the Michigan Wolverines visit Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday. Wisconsin defenders haven’t allowed a single point in blowout wins over South Florida and Central Michigan. The Wolverines — like U-W — are undefeated and ranked among the top teams in the country. They have wins over Middle Tennessee and Army, although that win over Army caused some tense moments in Ann Arbor two weeks ago – as Michigan had to survive double-overtime with the Black Knights.
